What I noticed immediately was the manner in which she connected to every aspect of life she encountered: the canyons, the hillsides, the wildlife. Not a bird went unacknowledged, every dog and cat embraced, each human honored from a place of deep regard, the streams blessed, the trees held, the clouds read, the rain received. Every engagement a blessing.

Whereas there was a formal clearing ceremony on my land in June, the truth is that purification was happening everywhere we went and the whole time she was here. The image I got in meditation was similar to someone putting an IV drip in someone's arm, allowing potent vitamin support to slowly infuse the body. Lisa could feel anywhere there were areas of congestion, depression, frozen memories....all of which she released. She acted as a conduit for the higher frequencies of love, forgiveness, acceptance, surrender, unity, purity to flow through her out into all life.

Perhaps it will never be possible to know all that was accomplished in her time here, but I can report a few things that actually did happen to which I can attest:

• 3 days prior to her arrival a freakish kind of incident took place between 2 workers on our land that resulted in half the staff spontaneously leaving. This was completely uncharacteristic behavior in 22 years of living harmoniously with our land crew. This was a challenge at the time because we were preparing to host Lisa and all who would be attending the ceremony. The primary worker who remained kicked into gear, moving nine 600-pound standing stones into position almost by teleportation. Since then, and it has been 3 months now, the land is peaceful, operating with half the staff and free of layers of complexity that we were encountering before.

• 2 days prior to her arrival a tornado literally hit our prayer circle depositing 4 feet piles of tree branches over the entire area that took 2 people 8 hours a day for 2 full days to clear.

• It had rained steadily and hard every day for weeks prior to the ceremony, but that day the sun dawned soft and clear.

• Subsequently, I noticed with astonishment that the hills were literally blushed, almost like a human face when it comes fresh from the spa. Taking in the whole of the landscape, somehow each juniper and pinon announced itself as opposed to the way I had always seen these hills as a singular entity before. The land seemed to call me into relationship, as if it had come alive.

• And then there was the astonishing blessing of hundreds upon hundreds of fields of butter daisies suddenly popping up everywhere: in vacant lots, around abandoned homes, in graveyards, on highway medians, in the rodeo grounds, all throughout parts of town that were forlorn. Everywhere bright, happy yellow flowers sewing delight and hope. I’ve lived in Taos for more than 30 years and there have never been hundreds upon hundreds of fields of butter daisies before. Not even one or two. Strictly a phenomenon of this year.

• The son of a Native American man she befriended was subsequently awarded a substantial grant that is enabling his family to found a much needed art and healing center on the pueblo.

• A family member who has suffered a sustained illness for 35 years has begun showing signs of integration.

• I, myself, was called to meet with a woman who is weaving a network of farmers, growers, and ranchers into a food production system that markets to several restaurants and the local school system enabling all the children in the valley to receive beautifully prepared organic lunches. She is, moreover, training a cadre of some 35 young people to harvest and prepare organic produce, bake gluten free breads and pastries, and package lunches for school distribution.

• A bedrock of the community, I have been guided to help her now magnetize the level of support she will need from the greater community to anchor food security throughout our valley for whatever may come.

There is no way to know what "Lisa did", what was accomplished through her.....but certainly grace abounded and seeded itself. Collaboration and potential were fostered.

Land clearing, the release of frozen memories and pain, the shifting of perspectives energetically held in an area that debilitate or divide, the transfusing into that area of the new codes that anchor love, purity, truth, innocence, unity.....is a rarefied art. It is within Lisa Raven's pure nature to perform it. It is an order of gift to the area where you live or any area you might wish to bless whose value is truly incalculable.
